GROUP TOURS

Private tours with a trained docent are a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the rich history and garden design principles of Lord & Schryver. We can accommodate groups of 1-20. Tours take place between April and October; reservations required at info@lordschryver.org or by calling 971-600-6987.

Gaiety Hollow

Guests start with an indoor slide presentation about Lord & Schryver and then go outside for the garden tour. $10 per person (1-1 ½ hrs)

Gaiety Hollow and Deepwood Garden

 After your tour of Gaiety Hollow, walk or drive ½ mile to Deepwood Museum & Gardens for a tour of their Lord & Schryver-designed garden rooms. Alice Brown hired Lord & Schryver in 1929 to design several gardens for this 1895 Queen Anne Victorian home. $15 per person (2 ½-3 hrs). Note: The home tour of Deepwood is not included in this package – for more information visit  https://deepwoodmuseum.org/visit/ .

Accessibility: Due to the historic nature of these gardens, there are some uneven surfaces and not all areas are accessible by wheelchair. Please call or email us for more information on how we can accommodate your visit.
