We are pleased to host this lively presentation by Tom Fischer, the recently retired acquisitions editor at Timber Press, a leading garden publisher. He has written for Horticulture, Gardens Illustrated, Martha Stewart Living, and other notable periodicals. In 2017, he received the B.Y. Morrison Communication Award from the American Horticultural Society. 

Tom’s presentation will introduce us to the work of an array of important figures who have transformed garden design throughout the history of the field. He will touch on what their unique accomplishments have to teach us today.

 This lecture series was established by Bobbie’s family in recognition of her passion and dedication to preserving the legacy of Elizabeth Lord and Edith Schryver.
